Shabby Chic Personalized Flowerpots

I wanted to make some small hostess gifts last weekend when we were attending two separate functions. These dollar store terra cotta flowerpots were made pretty and personalized with a bit of craft paint, some ribbon and a retail tag. Perfect for planting succulents and bulbs. They make a pretty gift for a hostess or for Mother's Day, or a centrepiece at a spring event.
This is the final product...a shabby-chic upgrade to a plain flowerpot..
Everything you need to make these yourself. I bought the pots, saucers, craft paint and brushes at the dollar store. Some dollar stores carry these tags in the craft section, I got mine at Staples. The ribbon is from Creative Bag. Then I went to the greenhouse for a great selection of 4 inch succulents.
Don't forget to make one for yourself! I added mine to my spring-time decor.
