Reclaimed Hardware Garden Tools Hanger

I saw some cute hangers on Hometalk from http://www.hometalk.com/judy138, and knew that I had to make one of my own! I wanted to combine the two signs though and make a sign that was both a garden tools hanger and a decor item.
This was practically free, and practical! What’s not to love?! The only expense for this was the $3 I paid for a tube of Liquid Nails to glue the “letters” on. Finding hardware that looked like letters was fun, but the “E” was hard because… well nothing really looks like an E! I ended up adding a flat piece of metal…. something… to the curved C… thingy. Hey, just because I manage a construction company doesn’t mean I know what everything is called!
This was a totally fun project and I can’t wait to make some more!
I inserted two plant hooks on the bottom of the board. That makes a total of 5 places to hang my garden tools. See the rest of the photos on my blog.
Enjoyed the project?
