Canning The Light

Using antique Ball canning jars I add fun memory lighting to my kitchen. They are fun and plus, as you have heard me say, they make me smile.
Ball Canning Jars for my little cottage lights.
So sorry to have been so excited to actually build the lights I forgot to take "how-to" pictures.
I used old metal rod iron grates for the ceiling attachment. I couldn't get dark light attachments so I painted mine with hammered iron from Rustoleum. http://www.rustoleum.com/product-catalog/consumer-brands/universal/universal-hammered-spray-paint
This is a good tutorial for those who would like to see the process.

Thanks for stopping by.

I have 3 blue ones I want to go this to!! Maybe this post will be enough to convince my husband (aka master electrician) to do it!

@Mitziblueyes This isn't hard and I'm not an electrician. You have an upper hand. Good luck and make sure to let us see your results. Maybe do better than I did with process pictures. Love to see your prize. Thanks. sk
