Rainbow Button IKEA Clock Hack

$5

Easy
We have had the same boring IKEA clock in our kitchen for about 8 years. It was time for an update so I thought I'd take it down and do some hacking. My IKEA clock hack resulted in a cute rainbow button clock that is perfect for my daughter's room.
Hacking a RUSCH clock doesn't require any special tools or clock know-how. With a few basic crafting supplies you can whip up a spiffy clock in no time.
Start by disassembling your clock. I have step-by-step directions on my blog that explain how to do this.
Cut the new clock face with a circle cutter and adhere buttons in place of numbers.
Insert your new clock face and cover the clock hands with washi tape before reassembling the clock assembly. Now my daughter has a fun and bright new clock for her room that only cost $5!
