Black and White Windows and Doors
There is something hot about highlighting details like doors, millwork, or windows with glossy black paint that not only provides wonderful contrast to a room but in a sea of neutral colors it helps to ground the room or draw the eye to a focal point such as the view out of a window.
Black windows are an amazing focal point as they draw the eye to the view outdoors.

Love it in pictures but terrified to do it. I know it's just paint but can't imagine how many coats of white it would take to cover black.
