Wood Louver Wainscoting

My island's deconstruction warehouse gives away reclaimed wood louvers for free. I used them to give a wainscoting look to an accent wall in our garage entryway and used leftover paint to give the wall a deep, moody feel.
I have a $50 budget for our garage entryway. One of my goals of this mini-renovation was to use some leftover paint from renovating other parts of our home last year. All I had to purchase for the wood louver wall was spackle and a wide putty knife totaling under $14 with tax.
The wood louvers came painted off-white from my local deconstruction warehouse. I could have cut off the unpainted, tapered ends, but I'm a lazy DIYer, so I left them whole.
I literally just glued those buggers onto the wall much to my family's distress. I'm pretty sure they thought I went crazy, gluing louvers to the wall. The next day, I painted everything in a deep, moody gray, and even though they don't smile at the wall like I do, I know they like it too. :)
