Shabby and Glam - a Hepplewhite Dresser Redo

This vintage, hepplewhite dresser was redone in General Finishes milk paint. The body was painted in Driftwood and the stripes were added in Halcyon Blue. It was then heavily distressed to soften the look and give it vintage charm.
The lighter blue plays off well against the darker blue/gray.
I decided to polish the original pulls so the brass would pop off the piece against the darker paint and give the piece a little "glam"!
This paint has a wonderful sheen to it. Although it doesn't require any sealant, I used a clear wax over it to give it an extra layer of protection - especially over the bare wood, distressed parts.
