Workbench from pallets...

Z on May 07, 2014I just drew up an idea that should work fine for intact pallets. I drew up two versions using six and ten full pallets. I'd recommend using Simpson ties to secure them to each other. http://www.homedepot.com/catalog/productImages/300/78/7818f02f-e22d-432f-9d18-7edd3d2da1b3_300.jpg Both L's and Ho De carry them in the lumber department.Helpful Reply

Alicia Gillentine Carr on May 13, 2014I was searching for ideas for the same thing! I'm planning to stand two pallets upright and attach plywood to both ends. I want to make some plywood doors to cover between the pallets for closed storage an then use the gaps between the pallets (on the outside) to hang hooks for tools. I also plan to put casters on the bottom for mobility. My husband and I share a small garage and moveable workspace will make life so much easier! I'll share my ideas once I get them implemented. Good luck and be sure to share you finished project!Helpful Reply
