A great food pantry design facilitates great organization in the kitchen! This house was originally built for a bachelor, but has great kitchen design features, including a large pantry with hidden storage features. Check it out!
Viewing the kitchen length, the pantry is visible in the far left section of cabinetry, next to the double oven. The hallway leads to the back entrance, from which groceries are unloaded and brought in.
Best feature of the pantry: the shelving doors inside the pantry are hinged and rotate from side to side, allowing access to a back wall of additional shelving - just a great set up for kitchen organization, easily visible into the depth of the closet, from several angles.
With doors open, the pantry expands into a great closet for keeping canned and boxed items. Door shelves are more shallow, but easily hold spices and boxes. The top shelf is deep and wide, great for storing family size boxes of cereal and other sundries.
Kitchen pantry, doors closed. Two storage drawers are below the doors.
