Saturday Sparks -- Spring Mantels
Okay, so Spring here in the Midwest may be quickly rushing toward Summer sooner than I would like, but I plan to cling onto it for as long as possible. So today I’m focusing my attention to the centerpiece of many living rooms — the fireplace mantel. I’ve just now stopped turning on the gas logs to knock off the chill in the mornings, so I guess it’s time to turn the big black hole and the shelf above into a more decorative statement for a few months.
