By opening a seam on a pretty placemat, I was able to create a new outdoor pillow to spruce up our backyard! I found these placemats in the outdoor section of a discount store and they are fully water-resistant, perfect for cheap and quick weather-proof pillows and best part is that they cost me $2! Now I'm hooked and plan on scooping up all the cheap placemats I can find!
The colors brighten up our tired Adirondack chairs and bring a fresh burst of color to our outdoor space.
The trick is finding placemats that are double sided. Opening a seam is easy too. Just clip the tiny threads and it opens right up!
