the plant in question is not a sedum although there is a sedum in the picture and it is Autumn Joy lol! Plant in question is that scraggly looking one.

Jenny I had no idea there was a town called Jersey Shore in PA... I live at the Jersey Shore, near Long Beach Island :)

  • I must have something like this in my future garden. I have seen this before in Magazines and have tried to research on where to find them. Would anyone happen to know where to find planters like these? 8

I drop "gems" in my yard which is all stone, for my 3 Grandsons to find, they think a "gem fairy" leaves them :) This will be a wonderful way for them to use all those gems while they are still young enough to "believe" ... THANKS! What a wonderful idea :)

  • #1. Hire son to pressure wash. Best way to clean the outdoors and it's fast too. And sons work for cheap...
  • #2. Use ONE cleaner. Seriously. This Basic H2 by Shaklee is concentrated and will clean everything. I love their fragrance free products. ALL of them.
  • #3. Hire out help. First time ever, I hired Chris to clean up my bad junk. He's also going to thatch my lawn, caulk the windows and prune some trees. Chris is my new BFF. Plus he smiles and doesn't complain. Wow.

Custom Mosaic on Hardi Backer Board

I just accepted a commission for a stained glass mosaic that will hang on the outside of a house. I have done many outdoor mosaics on wood in protected areas but this will be fully expose to the elements so I plan on using Hardi Backer board as my substrate but don't know how to #1 cut it or #2 when it is finished how to hang it.

! I used the hanging system I purchased at the same time (has two) and we put screws thru siding ( caulking around ) and it hangs on there.... Made it through Hurricane Sandy too :) As to the ZBar system I am not familiar with it so I'm not sure. Wish I could help more!
