I've done my fair share of moving and aiding friends moving which has helped me, along with the internet, to come up with some creative ways to the moving and packing process much easier.
1. Saran wrap bottle openings to prevent leakage.
2. Immobilize hung up clothing with trash bags
3. Pack books in rolling suitcases
4. Use pillow and blankets as padding between fragile items
5. Take a photo of the back of the TV to remember where all of the cords go.
6. Double sheet your mattress
7. Push and twist to lock pump action bottles to prevent
8. Fill the pots with spices and baking ingredients
Check out the blog for the rest of the list.
I must say that a few of my favorite tips on this list are packing books in suitcases and using trash bags to contain the closet because they save time and backs.
What are some of your favorite moving tips/hacks?
Keep your clothes on your hangers and clean with trash bags as garment bags. Hanging them up in your new closet just got easier.
Stop shampoo, or peppercorn explosions by sealing openings with plastic wrap.
Save your back and your books by packing them in rolling suit cases to move them around easily.
Push and twist to secure the pump to prevent soapy puddles.
