Lori Snarski on May 16, 2014How about a piano bench to use as a coffee table? They have the compartment to store sheet music. If it is too high to use for a coffee table you could either cut down the legs or put it under a window or next to the sofa. Good luck and hope this was helpful.Helpful Reply

DJ on May 16, 2014Lori, That's a great idea, but handy I'm not and I think the bench might be to high. I'll have to find one and measure it.Helpful Reply

Lisa on May 16, 2014Two ideas: 1) when we traveled for 12 years, we removed the dvds from their boxes and kept them in storage things we bought at wallyworld that look like books and have sleeves in them. We cut and kept the info page and put it in the front sleeve and put the DVD in the back sleeve. Kept them clean and easy to store and transport. 2) Now that we've upsized to a 1200 square ft house, we have so much more room! We put an old dresser (that I still have to refinish) under the tv and store our dvds in the drawers. It works great!Helpful Reply

Betty Perrault on May 17, 2014many seating solutions also have empty spaces for storing. I have four cubes I use for storing, plus stackable, pretty containers, and a couple of large hat boxes. old suitcase can be used and decorative. book cases aren't just for books, either.Helpful Reply

ThomasMaloney on Nov 27, 2014Removing the CD and the cover art seems like a pretty feasible idea, but only if your storage pockets have good cushioning, othewise the discs can be quite wrecked up over time.Helpful Reply
