Margo Fogg on May 17, 2014There are so many shades and tints of turquoise (or what I would call turquoise) that you could use. You could also try painting just 1 wall in turquoise...an accent wall and decide where to go from there.Helpful Reply

Rita Holloway on May 17, 2014If you go with a shade of turquoise. You could accent with some red itemsHelpful Reply

Moxie on May 18, 2014luv luv luv it!! I just did silver white and grey in my kitchen and it came out very nice so I would think if it was mine I would go light grey if you want something bolder pick something darker from the cool color family...love to see the end results!Helpful Reply

Jeanette S on May 18, 2014I noticed the color of your furniture...I would paint a beautiful dove grey, particularly if this is a bedroom. For curtains, I would get some drop clothes, tape off 2 stripes about 3" wide across the bottom about 10" off the floor and about 10" from the top and paint the stripes in a FLAT SILVER spray paint! It would be striking! Then coordinate in blacks/greys/whites with a touch of red...perhaps throw pillows or a throw at the foot of the bed...a white vase with poppies!Helpful Reply

Nancy InTn on May 18, 2014Some shade of teal/turquoise depending on if you want a light or darker room.Helpful Reply

Marion Nesbitt on May 18, 2014Might go grey on walls. If this is a bedroom, turquoise walls might not be too restful. You can always use turquoise for bedding, accents. Maybe one more colour besides turquoise for accents - deep red/turquoise in a Middle Eastern type area rug. I think drop cloths might not be elegant enough for classy silver doors but I like stripe idea Jeanette S has .Helpful Reply

Angelia Christenson on May 19, 2014I agree with Marion....Greys and gray blues will go really well and then you can add splashes of accent colors in throw pillows or your bedding items like a deep red. Really depends on who will be sleeping in this room i guess unless its your guest room in which case its ALL UP TO YOU!!! I have Sea GULL on my living room walls from Behr Premium Paints which is a tad dark for most but instead of doing white ceilings i went with just a slight blue tinge of "silver bells" also by BEHR which really helps blend it all together and makes the super white crown molding and mantle and fireplace look white white all the time. I used to be an interior contractor and always loved to listen to my customers color choices and plans before we began our work. You can tell a lot by a person by the colors they choose for their home.Helpful Reply

Kate Chatterton on May 19, 2014Have to agree with Jeanette and Marion. Dove grey walls with turquoise as accents. I love turquoise, it is one of my favorite colors, but would find an entire room over powering. With grey walls and turquoise accents, the room would be like a beautiful piece of silver/turquoise jewelry.Helpful Reply

Bonnie S on May 19, 2014I also agree...a light gray would be beautiful and very elegant. Bright colors here are too bold...especially if it is a smaller room...will make the room look smaller and darkHelpful Reply

Karen on May 19, 2014Which ever wall color you choose i'd use some black as an accent, it goes with everything and will look good with the silver. Gray Walls, and a yellow and black accent is gorgeousHelpful Reply

Buster Evans on May 19, 2014I would go either with Red maybe leaning toward maroon side or blue not quite navy just a couple of shades lighter.. I think it would accent the silver and make it stand out as well.A this depending on how much light comes into the room.Helpful Reply

Barbara Turner on May 19, 2014Go pick out a pretty pattern of contact paper and just use that. They have all kinds of patterns and it's super easy. Just go slow and smooth it out! I did the same thing for the backsplash in our redone kitchen. It looks like faux suede!Helpful Reply

Donna H on May 19, 2014I like the idea of turquoise walls around the doors. The faux finish would really pop. Then do the rest of the room in a medium charcoal grey.Helpful Reply

LaWanna Lampert on May 19, 2014I appreciate your bold choice for the doors, just lovely. My suggestion for the walls would be a mid tone green (Kelly?) (no army green) or blue green or a shade of purple(not too dark). Nothing light or in the gray family, too monochromatic. No red unless you are going for the Chinese restaurant look. :) Trim could be in the same color as the walls (no black, it will fight for dominance with the doors.) A mid tone will also blend with your floor color. My field is interior design. Hope this is helpful.Helpful Reply

Pam Bolton on May 21, 2014Another suggestion in the blue family would be BM West Coast CC-750. This is a darker blue with more of a grey base. My favorite dark blue is BM Hale Navy for your accent wall and BM Revere Pewter for the other walls with 50% Revere Pewter on the ceiling.Helpful Reply
