How to make and old cement patio with different textures look good.

We added on to our house and covered patio. A friend poured cement to add on to our patio. He brushed it for safety. Now we have 2 different looks old and cracked with a seam then brushed. We can't redo because our deck stairs meet the cement.

Behr just came out with a product that you can refinish decks but you can also apply to concrete in numerous color .you can try staining it first,but not sure it color will be consistent .try the stain first on each surface if you don't like the results then try this new paint.Have never stained concrete before,but I believe you need to wet it down first. Check with the store for instructions.

Be careful with some of these new products for decks and concrete...they get very hot. I wanted to try on that was very expensive for a large deck only to learn later, I am glad I didn't!
