How to paint an old entertainment center and use it for storage.
Found this old entertainment center on Craigslist for just $30. I'd been looking for a while, so I was so excited! It even fit in the back of my minivan :)
Bought some yellow paint for about $15 and added unsanded grout to make it chalky. Sanded to distress.
Added painted beadboard to the back, used boxes and baskets for storing craft supplies! Now my floor isn't (usually) covered with fabric, bottles of paint, and all the other stuff I love to use! Plus, the bifold door make it easy to access, and it doesn't take up too much room in my bedroom.

Jeanette S on May 19, 2014Great re-purpose! With everyone putting the flat tvs on the wall, there are going to be millions of these things hitting the market...so soon there will be an entire industry built around re-purposing these...HA!
