Painted Lace Pots

These DIY Painted Lace Pots are the perfect spring project and make a great hostess gift!
I love herbs, unfortunately this is my third batch of herbs since Roger and I got married. My first set of herbs died in the summer heat last year when we went away on vacation and the second group of herbs died during our move. So hopefully this new batch will survive the summer.
This time I wanted something extra pretty for my herbs but I didn’t want anything too expensive. So I first headed to the dollar tree because last summer they had some clay terra cotta pots, but they didn’t have any, so long story short I headed to Walmart next.
Of course Walmart has a lot of pots in a variety of sizes. So after going through all of the pots trying to pick out the most perfect ones, I found three that I liked in three different sizes. I was so excited about this project, but because of the storms that swept through the south I had to paint the pots one day and then wait several days before taking the pictures. That also meant I had to wait to make the Cilantro Lime Rice that I shared with you yesterday because I basically used all of the cilantro on our small herb plant for the recipe.
