One of my favorite rooms of our new house is not inside the house at all.
It's our large deck off of the kitchen. Just a short walk out the sliding doors leads us to a peaceful space big enough for cooking (the BBQ is behind me), dining and entertaining.

The conversation area is fun, comfortable and colorful.
The conversation area gives us plenty of room for friends to gather.
And, we get to enjoy this gorgeous views of clear blue sky and the Rocky Mountains as we sit and eat in our outdoor dining room. What's not to love about that?
