I found this sweet wee hutch on Trade Me (a Kiwi version of eBay or Craig's List) and just knew it had to be mine - I won the bidding war up to around $90.
Wow how lucky was I?
These hutches usually go for a lot more. The ad stated that there was some damage to the varnish, turns out it was an auto pest control spray that had eaten through the varnish and made it all soft and sticky.
This project is so totally my style and it turned out heaps better than I imagined.
LOVE!!!!

The after - with a vintage chippy mirror to finish off the piece perfectly.
The before picture - this was from the actual listing.
New hardware at $3 for 3 handles at the hardware store
Awesome in my very small kitchen.
