Teresa Hon on Dec 22, 2014It really depends on what the leaves look like. Long and slender it is a willow, large and glossy it is a mulberry, shorter and slender it is a cherry. My mulberry never bloomed but I liked that it was so succulent-looking. We now have a cherry at our new home but I much prefer the mulberry.Helpful Reply

Margie on Mar 17, 2015We have tons of trees like that around here. They are weeping cherry usually, but there are some other variations. That's almost exactly what they look like though, so I'd say weeping cherry is my guess. ☺Helpful Reply

Linda T on Apr 02, 2016I'm inclined to agree with you (I Googled it, of course) but I also looked at Weeping Japanese Maple too, because we have many in our little town (I am envious!) and their 'naked' shapes are very similar to yours, though a lot of their trunks have been shaped to look old and crooked. BTW, most cherry bark is smooth with a sheen and is often grey, or cherry red.Helpful Reply

Paulette Harris on Aug 06, 2016Not absolutely sure, due to blurriness of the photo, but it looks like a Walker's Weeping Siberian Caragena I planted two years ago in my front yard. Mine is much smaller, but the branch configuration looks similar. Bought it from a Mennonite nursery in North Central Iowa. It is somewhat rare but available in a few places. I love it because it is unusual.Helpful Reply
