Backyard Lounging Area

Last July, we got most of the foundational pieces in place for our outdoor living space. However, when it came time to finish the decorating, most of the outdoor decor was picked over and I had to put the process on hold.
This year, I decided to be ahead of the game and started picking up pieces when they first started arriving in stores. With seasonal items, I've learned it's best to nab them before they're gone.
I still have a ways to go, but I love how the lounging area is coming together. Now for some nice weather to be able to enjoy it!

Colorful patterned pillows tie elements together and add a sense of coziness to our loungers.
Perhaps it was the long drawn out winter we had, but I couldn't resist this red garden stool to use as a side table.
An oversized offset umbrella provides shade on hot summer days.

Satori Design for Living- Shauna Oberg on May 24, 2014Thanks @Miriam I The deck is just pressure treated lumber stained in Behr's Cordovan Brown solid stain. A bit high maintenance, but we like the way it looks. Happy Memorial Day weekend!
