Re-purposed Bread Board Into Unique 'Union Jack' Wall Plaque/sign!
by

(IC: homeowner)
I took an old bread board that had seen better days, and re-purposed it into a wall plaque/sign.
Using a light background coloured paint I painted the whole board.
Stencil of Union Jack flag - feeling a bit patriotic!
Painted in acrylic paint, allowed to dry, then distressed with sandpaper.
The acrylic paint 'peels' off when you sand it - making it look as though it is very old.
I then gave it a few coats of matt varnish with some tint in it - I used some artist's oil paint.
There you have a unique plaque/sign that you could drill some holes into to secure it to a wall, or leave it free standing, against a wall etc.
