Cucumber Trellis

Tired of using old tomato cages for your cucumbers? Here's one solution...
Three landscaping timbers and a piece of old chain link fence will make cucumber picking a lot easier for me this year. The timbers were all eight feet long. The two upright timbers were buried two feet deep (post hole diggers) and the cross bar was screwed into place with 4 inch deck screws and trimmed off with a battery powered reciprocal saw . I used electrical wiring staples to attach the old chain link fencing after cutting it to the proper width with bold cutters. About as simple a project as one could imagine.
Enjoyed the project?
