Barn Wood Bookshelves
We were asked to make two seven foot tall x 2' deep cabinets with a matching lower unit. The three units were designed to attach to one another. We first constructed each of the cabinets then stained them with a special brush to give more of a rustic feel.
After adding the polycrylic we cut old barn wood to fit on the inside as well on the fronts of each of the shelves to give a unique look. The barn wood came from an old barn built in the mid 1800's in Oklahoma.
You can't duplicate what Mother Nature did over that period of time.
The Customer was very happy with the final results!
