2014 VEGETABLE GARDEN

finally got it all planted this weekend. 40 heirloom tomatoes, all giants and mostly all for sauce. three rows of green beans, some hot and bell peppers.
That little greenhouse in the back there sure did help me to do what I wanted this year, and that was to start all my own tomatoes from seed. We are a little late planting in our area this year due to the weather, so I even started my picklers in peat pots so I could transplant them out in the garden when it finally warmed up.
And another bed for squash, potatoes, beets, broccoli and brussel sprouts. With Gods good graces I should be canning up a storm this fall with all of this!

What a great looking project. You should be so proud - that is a big space and a big garden! Keep posting as your plants continue to grow! I grow a garden in SW MI too, over by the lakeshore.
