Painted Fabric Outdoor Cushions--Using a Paint Sprayer

My outdoor seating set is about five years old, and the cushions were getting yucky and faded. But those things are SO expensive to replace! I had good luck painting a thrift store chair using fabric medium, and then using regular old spray paint on some other outdoor cushions, so I decided I didn't have anything to lose by painting my outdoor cushions. Lots of details are in the blog post, if you have additional questions when you're done. Thanks!

I am in the process of using latex and fabric medium on my outside cushions. So far so good but I noticed the medium says to heat set when finished. Can this step be skipped? Also, is there any need for additional weatherproofing spray? Thanks! Your

Wow !! Top notch looking..huge upscale difference!! Looks so classy! Even if painting them buys you another year or so..you can always watch for end of summer sales if you still want to replace them..
