My Garden in May

It's a bit late for my garden tour for May since it is almost June. I've been working on my 9 garden beds for the last month about 4-5 hours a day.
I've put together an article that shows what is in bloom and some details on what I did this year that makes the garden look so different from last season.
Lots of weeding and digging but the fruit of my labor is lovely.

Believe it or not, this tropical amaryllis overwintered here in zone 7b despite three big snow storms. It is just gorgeous!
I bought this black eyed Susan at the nursery during a recent "cats and dogs" storm quickly. I didn't realize it was a Susan until I got it home. (tons of it already in other borders.) This one seems to have larger blooms though, so I don't mind.
I killed my chenille plant last year. Let's hope this one does better.
This fire and ice plant makes a great ground cover.
Just a sample of my garden this May!
Lovely oriental lily just about to bloom.
One of my favorite plants is a foxglove. This one has two colors of blooms on the one plant.
