Antique sewing table turned vibrant end table

This is an old sewing table I found sitting in the rain one day after taking the kids to school. The top was warped, and the veneer was peeling. So I decided to use some extra lumber I had laying around and use that for the top! After some sanding, priming, removing the old hardware and distressing the new wood to look more period correct this is what I ended up with!! A stunning Mother's Day gift that will be cherished by my mom for years to come!
After two coats of stain and 3 coats of polyurethane.
The front with the new hardware
Isn't she stunning?!
