How can I kill the grass which grows also in the interlock patio?
-
Krista Davis on May 31, 2014@jsko I don't know if this will help. I have the same problem with a stone patio. I don't like to use chemicals, so I've been killing weeds with three things: boiling water; vinegar; and salt. You'll want to test a corner first to be sure your pavers can stand up to those things. Some weeds are very sensitive to boiling water and never come back. Don't use salt unless you're 100% positive that you will never want to rip up the pavers and plant something. I'm told it stays in the soil. Spraying the grass with vinegar on a hot day might do the trick.Helpful Reply

Carmen on May 31, 2014Krista provide the same advice I would. I have never done the boiling water, but saltand vinegar does work. I put or cut the grass or weed as close aspossible. soak the area with whitevinegar. NOTE must be war dry day. Whenarea is dry I pour coarse kosher salt. Be careful not to get in areas you want something to grow.Helpful Reply

Krista Davis on Jun 01, 2014I forgot to mention that they also make flame throwers to burn weeds. They're long so you don't have to bend much. You just add a little propane canister and burn the weeds.Helpful Reply
