DIY Nautical Shadow Box

Add your vacation mementos to this fun DIY nautical shadow box. It is super simple to build yourself by purchasing individual wood panels and adding some paint, paper, and of course your nautical treasures. Don't have any beach mementos? Buy some!! You will want this fun art hanging in a room in your home.
This shadow box will look lovely hanging in your home. Customize this one with more of less wood panels to make it as large or as small as your heart desires.
I used a combination of stain and two paints to get a drift wood look on each box. You stain the panels first then add on white and grey paint with a dry brush.
A quick and gorgeous way to cover the back of each box is to use some fun faux wood grain scrap book paper and decoupage. After all of this dries, you just connect your boxes and glue in your treasures. Voila!! An amazing keepsake display!
