White plaster busts are a dime a dozen at flea markets and thrift stores! They can usually be found with a nice price tag too! Transforming them is always fun and with the help of faux finishing products by Modern Masters, you can instantly add years of Patina!
How awesome is he?
My starting point...boring, right?
After a coat of Metal Effects Primer, I painted on a coat of Metal Effects Copper.
The Aging Solution {see the blog for all the details} begins to work in minutes!
Whatcha think? Does he look like he's been exposed to the elements for years?
I LOVE this stuff and can't wait for my next transformation!
Enjoyed the project?

Valerie on May 31, 2014What a wonderful transformation!! Do you know if it would work on Styrofoam - one often comes across the 'heads' that are designed to hold wigs. It would not be as good as what you have achieved, but could be used in the garden. I love what you have done, and thanks so much for sharing and for all the instructions.
