Need an answer to how to keep an armadillo and a possum from burrowing

Donna Byram on Jun 01, 2014Put a light underneath your mobile home and leave it on during the night for a few nights. They will soon leave as they don't like the light. Know people who did this for skunks and possum and it worked. It might help to put moth balls in a container with holes in it to release the smell to avoid further invasion.Helpful Reply

Dfm on Mar 07, 2016actually, in a mobile home court .22 lead poisoning would raise to many questions. i'm assuming that you home is skirted? remove the skirting. dig a trench where the skirting hit the ground- dig twice a deep hole as the varmints did. reach out to a few farmer type friends ask for rusty/ barb wire or old fencing panels, broken concrete. fill the trenches with this junk. cover w/ top soil. its not so nice to dig in.. and the critters left it alone. another option is to get a trappers license- not very expensive, and a live trap. then do the .22 solution in a controlled environment. but...do get the permits and add a bit of protein to the table.Helpful Reply
