This was a pretty easy repurposing project. And what is fun about this sign is it can be changed out to reflect whatever occasion you want. Since storage is always a problem for me, having something like a welcome sign that can be used by changing out the background for any holiday makes life a lot easier!
Find a frame or picture at a thrift store/yard sale. This one is plastic and I actually liked that because it was lighter.
Take picture apart and paint it.
Grab a bandanna and start to assemble.
Attach bandanna to picture backing.
Trim away excess fabric. Glue painted wood letters right onto the glass and hang!
All done!
Enjoyed the project?
