Oh my...if you are anything like me you can't wait for school to be out & have a 'relaxing' summer schedule. But then all of a sudden it sneaks up on you and you realize you still need to come up with a great Teacher Gift to thank the teachers for putting up with your kids!
Well hopefully I'm not the only one, but this is what I came up with this year. And I seriously made it during nap time. In other words is it an EASY gift to make? Yes!
I was going after a more old school kinda chalkboard so I went with chalk paint in a can and brushed it on. For a smoother finish, opt for the spray-paint chalk paint!
I let it dry then distressed it a bit, wrapped some jute twine around the neck and tied a piece of chalk to the end. TA DAAAAA! Now all I needed to do was write on a fun note....
Score an A+ on your new gift fill your jar with teacher goodies and tie a free printable 'Thank You!' tag to the twine. See more at my blog link below....and have a Happy Summer =)
