DIY Compass Table From Yard Sale Find
by

I found an oak table at a yard sale for $30. It was the perfect size and shape to turn into a compass table.
Minimal prep work to make this table using milk paint, spray paint, and Minwax.
The Before shot...just a quick wipe down with a damp cloth
Blue milk paint and white spray paint before distressing and staining. Milk paint is similar to chalk paint in that it adheres well to surfaces like the stained table top. It only takes a little too! I mixed 3 tablespoons of paint to equal amounts of water. I still have a little left over. It goes a long way!
Here's a finished table! I used Rustoleum's Ultra 2x white spray paint on the pedestal and gave it a light sanding. Came out beautifully.
