I am in the process of revamping my kitchen, and I only have one more project left to complete before I can call the space finished! Today I'm sharing one of the projects included in my makeover, this rolling kitchen cart. I picked it up at a yard sale for $15, and it's the perfect addition to my kitchen!
It's painted in Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, one coat of Old White and a mixture of Old White and Duck Egg blue for the second coat. I topped it off with a coat of clear wax.
Here is the before...a bit plain.
I love the extra storage it adds.
I had a fantastic end-of-cabinet spice cabinet that I built, but I made some changes to that area, so I can no longer use it. This drawer is the perfect solution; my spices fit perfectly!
I sanded the butcher block, since it had been used, and sealed it with mineral oil.
I love how the old white peeks through the top layer of paint.
One more kitchen project completed and just one more to go!
Enjoyed the project?
