Jeanette S on Jun 08, 2014HA! You throw away a magic eraser when it disappears! I just keep using mine until I notice there is nothing in my hand! But be sure and wipe down the wall with a clean, damp cloth when finished. And don't scrub too hard with it! And if there are deep gouges in your wall, you may have to retouch if you have left over paint. Dab on a touch of paint with your finger (barely get it damp) and feather it out by lightly brushing over it with a dry brush. This blends in the new paint with the old paint. Don't think of it as "painting" out the mark as much as just making it into a ghost...sort of making it go away. (Let it dry and repeat if you need to...You may have to repeat a couple of times.) Even try putting a little paint on a toothpick and dabbing it on. In other words, don't grab up a brush, fill it with paint and slap it on the wall because if you do, you will have a big spot a different color on the wall!Helpful Reply
