Planting Trailing Lobelia Around the Base of My Potted Acer
by

I was planting up my hanging baskets the other week and had some trailing lobelia left over. I put some at the edges of my raised flower bed and couldn't decide where to put the rest...
Then I had a flash of inspiration and planted some inside the zinc effect planter my acer is in. You can just see one of the plants - with the slightly darker green leaves - poking out of the planter now. I can't wait to see the small flowers trailing over the sides of the planter in a couple of weeks' time!
