Get an Aged Look on Chicken Wire With Chalkboard Paint

There are a variety of ways to make new chicken wire look more aged and weathered and quite honestly I want to try every technique, but I needed a quick solution for a project I was doing, so I decided to give this easy idea a try.
The left shows new chicken wire before the aging process, The right side shows chicken wire after the easy aging process.
I also share an additional technique for how to make the chicken wire not only look aged, but how to make it look rusty, too.
Note: This technique would not be recommended for outdoor projects, but it can work well for indoor crafts, bulletin boards, etc..
Enjoyed the project?

Country Design Style-Jeanette on Jun 25, 2014I love this idea of using chalkboard paint to age! I've done a chalkboard projects board for Hometalk and added your chicken wire. Thanks!
