Free as a Bird :: And How to Remove Wood Veneer

I bought this little table at my go-to local antique store for $15 and knew it was perfect. I love doing small tables like this because I’m SUPER impatient and they usually don’t take as long to complete as a dresser or larger piece.
I painted it in Old White Chalk Paint and sealed it using a custom mix of clear and dark wax.
For the top, I used a method I discovered for getting off wood veneer. Visit my blog to see the whole tutorial! After it was removed I sanded it and restained it :)
Some burlap and a bird knob found at Hobby Lobby are the perfect finishing touches.
