Jeanette S on Jun 16, 2014When I was a kid we used to wash our wool skirts and they never shrunk. I assume this is a rug...? If so, I would lay it across the banister of my deck (or over the back of my lawn chairs if I did not have a deck) and let it rain on it! Lots of water and fresh air will get it clean...I would not use soap because that attracts future soiling! Wool is one of the natural fibers (Wool, cotton, Linen & silk).Helpful Reply
