Gardeners Eden Hummingbird Feeder

H-E-L-P!! I bought this beautiful blown glass hummingbird feeder and when I fill it with sugar water, it all leaks out the spout!!! S- I tried to attach the photo but it wouldn't work for me!!!

    A few years ago I purchased a gorgeous red hand blown feeder but had the same problem and finally gave up on it. I still have it thinking I could repurpose it as something else someday. Sorry I wasn't much help :-(

      @Sandy Harmon Hi Sandy, thanks for your info - it's a shame to spend all that money to find the item is just "pretty". Thankfully, it wasn't an extravagant purchase and will look nice in the garden. Cheers, Lorraine o)

    Be sure it's hung in shade. As the liquid gets hot it creates pressure and dripping occurs. But then some feeders were not built to serve.They are just pretty. Hope this helps yours work.

    I had the same problem with mine at first. I figured out that you you have to make sure the water is full to the brim before inserting the rubber stopper (make sure it's pushed in fully). It will then create a suction and stop leaking!
