Tam on Jun 19, 2014You can see them and read about them yourself by going to Google images and searching for "species of mushrooms". You'll see them like me and then can research more. Rose Adams on Jun 19, 2014If they are on an Oak tree, they are what we call "Chicken Mushrooms" which are editable. they do taste like chicken, (no joke) The other orange/yellow ones are poisonous.Helpful Reply

MaryLou on Jun 19, 2014Years ago, some people stopped and asked if they could pick our "goldies" mushrooms and since we didn't know what they were and hadn't noticed them we said ok. We have mostly oaks around here and nothing seems to come up in the same place year after year. Wish morels were as prolific as these questionable ones.Helpful Reply
