Why particle board?
-
Z on Jun 18, 2014I would imagine it depends on ones budget, whether or not they purchase it. Even if they do know it's of poor quality, it may be all they can afford. I've purchased it in the past for that very reason. We'd just moved across country and quite frankly it's all we could afford with the recent cost of moving, a home that had not sold yet on top of renting while our new home was being built. Knowing it's restrictions, I took care of it and it lasted quite a few years. I still have a couple of the pieces that I find useful for fabric storage. Though I could have replaced them with higher quality years ago, I have not.Helpful Reply
