Just Sittin'- Log Leg Bench

As we have been arranging and cleaning up our back yard, it has become more of a place that we want to sit and enjoy so we needed some seating in the back yard.
As I was pushing my babies in the swings, I was talking to my (then) 9 year old about building a bench when he told me of his idea to create one with log legs. We had just felled two trees and had a rather large log pile. BRILLIANT! We immediately started drawing up plans and I got to work with wood I had in the garage. This project cost us $0 to make. LOVE THAT.

In my blog post, you will find tips from what I learned during construction. It was my first ever bench to make, so I was learning as I went. These tips might be common sense to some people, but to those that have never built one like I hadn't, they might be helpful.
