Simply Painted Family Tree

SK on Elderberry
by SK on Elderberry
A client wanted a fanciful painted family tree for her dining room wall. So free-handing the drawing made me literally think outside the box.
After free-handing the outline I begin to fill in the lines with a variegated black and brown paint
I had way more help than I needed. But what a sweet picture.
My client couldn't wait to start hanging her lovely family. She said she was keeping one branch especially for hubby. Hmmm. Wonder what she meant?
As she started to hang photos, she found herself worried about placement. So we just laid them out on the floor beneath just to see how they would look. Color, weight and balance comes into play.
Such a simple idea. I am sure she will be adding as time goes by. Thanks to those out there who thought of it first. You are my inspiration.
