Inexpensive Teen Bed Update

Teen Queen’s bed frame is old. The veneer was peeling and the finish was scratched up. It had some cool lines but it was far from cool. So I decided when she was gone for a few days to surprise her with a bed update.
It’s nothing fancy, just paint and fabric but if you take a look at these “before” photos you’ll see how far it’s come. Please note I took these pics of her room in its “as is” condition.

I used cardboard, scrap fabric and duct tape to make an upholstered panel for the inset section.
