Amazing Shower Cleaning Trick

Honestly, I was amazed at how well this cleaning trick worked for removing stains, scale, and mold. The pictures below are from a newly purchased home with a neglected shower. Mold had grown on on the lower seals and grout. Some serious cleaning was needed to restore these surfaces.
The before and after shot.
The mold in the lower cracks of the shower.
Mix equal quantities on baking soda and bleach together to make a paste. Add more baking soda if the concoction is too fluid. Smear the past on the surfaces of the shower at the end of the day so it can set overnight.
Wash the paste away in the morning with water and use a nylon brush to remove any remaining gunk. The surfaces should be much cleaner. Use multiple applications if it is still dirty.

Liliana Wells on Dec 17, 2014I use bleach on tough showers, as indicated above. For daily cleaning I prefer a vinegar mixture.
