Creating a Vignette

I have been changing over our home's decor to reflect a more summery look. Today, I created a vignette on our ottoman. While researching just what makes a good vignette, I found several elements to consider. I've created two versions of this vignette. Which is more appealing to you?
This is version A
This is version B
The theme is Summer.
The focal point is this large glass vase/candleholder.
The element of color to bring the decorative items together include white, blue and green
displaying items in groupings of odd numbers is more visually appealing - harmonious
Vary objects by height for symmetry
Include various textures
